Toby had his first vet check today. I was so relieved. I don't know why but I was so afraid something would be wrong with him.
He does have a slight under bite but the vet assured me that it would only be a concern if I had planned to breed him or had wanted to show him. As far as his health goes though, no issue.
The vet gave him two booster shots. The first one he took like a big brave boy. The second he went nuts over. He cried, he wiggled he tried to bite the vet assistant. The vet told his assistant to just put him on the floor and let him work it out. Well he cried and cried, tried to bite his back and raced around the room like a little nut.
Now he's asleep on my shoulder. He likes to drape himself across the back of my shoulders when I'm at the computer. Worries me a little but when he moves my hands move pretty fast as well.
The vet said that's a fairly standard reaction from the small dogs.
He weighed 2.5 lbs and he's 3 months old (born April 1st) so I think that means from other things I've read that I can expect him to be around 5 lbs.
Oh and I also mentioned the funny noises he makes and the vet mentioned reverse sneezing and seemed unconcerned. Yay
