I am new here too but I have seen "teacup yorkies" that might not be the correct terminology but they are out there. I guess by the correct terms they are just very small. Anyhow if she is indeed pregnant I wouldn't wait to take her to the vet.. I would find one that can do an ultrasound now and if wanted you can go back to your normal vet later. But she definality needs to see a vet now. My very small chihuahua Pixie scared me very bad... I thought she was pregnant, I didn't know how she did it because she never goes outside alone and we do not have any males. Anyhow she had milk and was swollen in her milk glands and down there but when I took her to the vet he said she had a false pregnancy and that when they go into heat it can trigger the hormones to react like this. I hope for the best and thanks for taking her in and giving her the home she deserves... why would they put her to sleep anyhow? Poor baby....
