There's also a wonderful book, written by a now deseased yorkie breeder and AKC judge: Terri Shumsky "How To Buy and Raise a Good Healthy Dog" There several Chapters on Breeding, Whelping and Caring for a Litter and the Dam. The book is very instructional and provides lists of supplies, feeding, etc. I'm not sure but, I think it can be purchased on Amazon.
I'll check with a Bluebonnet Yorkshire Club of Dallas member to see if she still has the DVD on whelping that Terri also produced.
