Whoa.
Please don't give up.
If liver enzymes are up, it is likely liver shunt or microvascular dysplasia.
A twelve hour fast "used" to be required for the preprandial blood draw but the recommendation has since changed. Now just a fast overnight is considered enough. When the dog is too small to fast at all, then just the postprandial can be done. If she is too small to draw anymore blood from, then she could jsut be treated as though it is LS (minus the surgery). In other words, it won't hurt to changed her to Science Diet L/D canned for now and get her on Denosyl and Lactulose immediately. If she perks up, it is likely the problem.
Why didn't the vet send her to someone who could handle this?
MSU? Oakland Referral?
Because LS is so common in Yorkies, that would be my first guess.
Of course it may be something altogether different...
I would not give her any food beyond the L/D or Royal Canin LS 14 for now.
Ellie's vet may be able to help you/refer you somewhere if it isn't too late but it would be a bit of a drive for you...
