Roxy was definitely overwhelmed the first time I took her to daycare. She absolutely loves other dogs, but walked around as though she were totaly lost. Second time, she got very excited when we got there, couldn't wait to get in the door. When I picked her up, she wanted nothing to do with leaving. Kept pulling to go back in. She continues to do that now. Take her one afternoon every week. When we get there now, her excitement level is over the top. She's wiggling/pulling so much I can hardly get her in the door. While there she roams around alone a lot, but interested in everything that goes on. Attendants are quite good at watching stress levels & will pick her up & hold her for awhile or put her on a resting bench. Love watching her on the internet!

Give Capone a few more tries before you decide. His behavior will help you decide the right way to go.
