You do have a dilemma on your hands .How did Pepper get on with your dog? Could it be that Pepper is trying to dominate the house because there is another dog there?
Im afraid I don't believe in smacking dogs at all.If you watch Ceaser he grabs the scruff of the neck of small dogs, as that what the mother dog does to put a pup to put it in its place.Im sure there will be lots of good advice on its way.
