My girls are pets too, but they are Championed and don't sleep with me but, in crates, in a puppy room, right out side my bedroom. So, being into mom's room, they know that for 12 or more they will get extra pampering. They love being in there. They have the TV to watch all day, and they're every need seen to without them asking/barking for it.
