Default Toby is settling in

Well Toby is making himself right at home over his first week with me. His introduction to one of my cats was to run up and bite him in the bum. My 40 lb cocker/golden mix has been terrified of him, but today when he was jumping at her and barking at her trying to get her to play (he's wanted all of my other pets in the worse way) she finally responded by jumping back at him. I've been waiting for this, but it was really scary she's so much bigger. I kept saying "Easy Molly he's a puppy" and she was good. She'd chase him under the bed then 2 seconds later he'd come charging out at her. She would try to anticipate where he'd come out so I think that she was having fun. Yay.

I've been reading a lot on the forums and I think that even though he's doing pretty good with getting outside, I'd like to get him the UGODOG he's so little I'm not really sure he's getting outside every time he needs to go and especially when my mother watches him while I'm at work I don't think he's going out as often as he should.

Her dogs love him especially her Chihuahua who is still fairly young himself. All 3 of her dogs love him though...they even got after their own cat when she hissed at him.

I was pretty sure that I was going to get North State - Superyard XT Portable Playard and Gate for when I actually start to leave him at the house by himself. Then I found 24H" x 24" 8 Panel GoGo Black Epoxy Exercise Pen w/ Door and I thought it might be better...it's certainly less expensive so I wondered if anyone had any experiences to share about either.

He also occasionally makes a strange noise that almost makes me think he's going to be sick. I wondered if it was the backwards sneezing I read about. His first vet check is next week so I'll of course ask then, but I wondered if anyone had any idea.

Anyways, he's cute and adorable and I love him and I really appreciate all the help you've all given me even though I've been fairly quiet
