 My new baby has a soft spot too!
My husband purchased my little one from a breeder and did not know to look for this. It is called an open fontanel. Researching it on the internet will scare you to death! The suggestions range from "she has hydrocephaly" to "it will be fine, just watch it and it will probably close as she ages" I have considered returning her to the breeder because all the info says not to breed any yorkies with this defect BUT I have fallen completely in love with her. Please let me know if you find out any new info. and congratulation on your new baby. |
