the flea bath was done at the groomer who is next to the vet with vet approved stuff. the living conditons were fine but he came from a farm and his mom is a farm dog. they breed horses. he was in their house with kids etc. the breeder was a nurse who seemed very good. i am a nurse also and i was very comfortable with her. i had been to 3 other places before and had left without pups. she had warned me about the fleas and wouldn't do a bath till he was 12 weeks. thats when we did it. he didn't get the cough till baout a week after i had him. i had him with other dogs because i didn't know not to do that. anyway as for the 2 lb dad it was a dna tested sire and i bet it was artificial insemination cause it is hard to imagine 12 lbs and 2 lbs doing it. as for the shakes they are calming down now. i do think its a cold thing as well as nerves so i'm trying to work on both of those. thanks so much for the help. michelle
