Well Uni is the "shop dog", so she has free reign of our entire store, which is only about 700 sq ft. She loves greeting people, and most of the time people love her. When she was a baby we had a big cardboard box we used to block her way out from behind the counters. Now she would just be able to jump it. And keeping her back behind the counters wouldn't give her enough play room. Also having her stuck in her carrier all day wouldn't be very nice either.
