Just an update. All xrays were normal, all urine and bloodwork normal. Vet said she had a vaginal infection and she was on an antibiotic for 14 days. That just ended and she is intermittently (like once a week) having accidents. I bought a carpet spot machine, so I am just cleaning as it happens.
I have no real idea of what's going on, and the vet said he would prescribe this bladder medicine that would help keep her from peeing. I was kind of irritated about that: I don't just want to make it stop; I want to know WHY it's happening.
Breezeaway, I would think abnormal protein levels would show in one of those tests I did... If you know more, I'd be interested to hear. I can ask for the bloodwork results. After 2 $170, I'm tapped for cash until next week, and I'm tired of giving this vet money so that he can shrug his shoulders at me. |
