BECAUSE, My province is being greatly effected because of the idiots (PETA, and other animal groups) Spreading LIES about the seal hunt.. Showing footage that was taken as far as 100 years back, of people skinning seals alive, or killing white coats.. IT IS ILLEGAL to do this, and has been illegal for years, and years, and YEARS. it simply isnt done anymore.
If ya want to go after something, why not go after slaughter houses. those are where the worst kinds of animal cruelty are coming from. And I bet you still sit down every night and eat a nice steak, pork roast, or chicken breast right?

I'm not sure what you mean about slaughterhouses, aren't the animals knot out or shocked first then they cut the throat.
In Brook's Alberta the slotting house for beef / pork I thought I heard that the cruelty was eliminated could be wrong, will find out though. Next I wouldn’t put it past the China still doing this. They’re so backwards, and would do anything for money. Yes I do believe it still happens.
Apparently, the states have to label the fur type. Canada no, so my question is - how do we find who sell dogs or cats fur, and how does one know which is which, dog or mink, wolf etc. How do you determine that? I have heard in Vancouver on Grandville Street that Fur Company does sell dog and cat items, no bones about it too. Will be checking that out for sure. Any fur place I’m walking in and investigate as to what the fur are and how to tell what is what.
