I have a thirteen week yorkie and i feed him half a cup of food a day(i feed him wellness) because he is only around 2.3 -2.5 pounds he eats three times even with treats in between.
We give him treats also when we train. I have asked a lady that breeds and owns her own pet retreat and she said that it was fine. I do though , have a few people in my family who dont even breed yorkies that think he should be eating at least half a cup at each serving which i think is a little too much.
If you would post your opinions on this i would appreciate it.
