O.K... Bosco seems to be settling in and has bonded to me and his fur sister Emma. His first night in his crate he cried a bit and then went on to sleep, he did a little better the second night, the third night he woke up when I went to the bathroom and cried a bit, but went right back to sleep. LAST night, he woke up at 2:00 a.m. and started crying, I waited a minute for him to calm down and when he didn't I took him out to go potty. He went, I brought him in and then he cried, screamed, howled, shrieked and any other noise you couldn't imagine coming from a 3lb puppy.
My feeling is that this has nothing to do with having to go potty...it has to do with not wanting to be in his crate. As soon as he's out of his crate he's a happy camper, right now he's sound asleep (wish I could say the same) under my desk as I type this. Not crating him at night and when I'm not at home is not an option, he gets into EVERYTHING

.. I haven't done this much baby proofing since my 19 year old son was a baby. I'm wondering if I should put him in another room when he goes to bed so I won't wake him if I have to get up, but I have a feeling that not being near us will make it worse.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
