WOW is all I can say. I'm really sorry to see so many negative responses in this thread.
I am seriously against debarking, but that doesn't give anyone a right to attack this girl. I'm not saying that every negative thing someone posted was an attack - everyone's entitled to their opinion - but there are some truly hurtful things on here.
No, I don't think you should debark your dog. Especially considering he's more of an adult now and is used to his "voice." It would be the equivilent of someone taking away - or turning down - your voicebox. The sound of a debarked dog is like the sound of someone who has lost their voice.
I've got you in my prayers. I hope that you are able to find a place to live and that you can it doesnt' come down to debarking your dog - because there are definitely better ways to deal with barking. I don't doubt that you love your dogs, because if you didn't you wouldn't be trying to learn about the different options you have.
