It's not too unheard of. When we moved we rehomed Maddie - a small, purebred yorkie - for free. In desperate times people care less about getting money than they do getting their dogs to a good home.
Can't wait to hear what happened. Hopefully she's just so busy playing with her new pups she hasn't had time to get on.
