They say puppies should be able to hold it 1 hour per month of puppy ,so a four month old pup should be able to hold it for four hours(unless excessive drinking or eating).I have found smaller yorkies and most small breeds tend to be half that so the same 4 month old puppy would be 2 hours hold time
