Penny loves hiking with us, and our adventures tend to take us into some pretty extreme conditions. The local outdoor supplies store has some nice products for dogs like extra-light, fleece-lined, waterproof and windproof coats and dog packs designed so dogs can carry their own food when backpacking, but they are all designed for dogs that are 20lbs+. At 13lbs, Penny is robust enough that I know she could handle packing her own food, and I'm sure she'd really like a very nice coat to keep her cozy when our wanderings end atop a snow-capped mountain. Has anybody ever seen quality outdoor gear for littler dogs anywhere?
