Baron was 6 months old when I got him from a breeder. Sammy was a Puppy Mill Rescue that we found in Philadelphia @ a Halloween parade that our Daughter was twirling in. Sammy is a Papillion. He was running around in the crowd of people. They were kicking him and we saw people burning him with Cigarettes. I yelled @ them and ran toward them. They left him go and we ran after him. Finally someone picked him up and we took him from them. He was so small and shaking, dirty and burned on his legs. We asked around and were told that a PMiller dropped off a truckload of former breeders Hoping someone would pick them up. We brought Sammy home. We took him to the vets. He guessed him to be between 1-2 y.o. He weighed 1 lb. 14 ozs. That was on Halloween. By Feb. he weighed 3 lbs. and was neutered. Sammy now weighs about 12-13 lbs. He's a little teapot. In March he saved my life when I had my first Heart attack 2 home in the basement. Sammy ran upstairs to get my Husband. I heard him digging @ the door. I passed out to be woken up by Sammy having his tongue down my throat. Together we climbed the stairs. I opened the door and Sammy woke my Hubs. Rory came out and found me on the floor. He rushed me to the Hospital. I had another Heart Attack and a Mini-Stroke while I was there. The Drs. believe that i stopped breathing and Sammy got me breathing again. I spent 9 days in the hospital. Sammy is my Velcro Dog since I got home. He always sleeps with me and follows me everywhere. He's my HERO!!! Sophie Kennedy is a re-homed 17 mo little girl that we went to Arkansas in May and picked up. She was re-homed from a YT member who got a divorce. There were to be 2 girls But, The smaller of the 2 had been bumped by a car and is deaf in 1 ear and has gotten aggressive. We brought Sophie Kennedy home on May 12. She is 9 lbs. of LOVE. She acts like she has always been with us. She and the boys get along great. I am now looking for another little girl...A Yorkie or Yorkie Mix to round out the family.... Yorkies are Addictive!!!
