Sure, if you give your Yorkie greenies constantly and too much it could easily cause a problem. Bounce only gets them 3 times a week. 4 if we're out of town and he needs something to help him be at ease. He's been on them since I had him at 3 years old. In fact, I encourage all of my customers to use them. They're great for the dental health. We just have to rememeber ANYTHING can cause problems like that, even something as simple as their dog food if that particular dog has some osrt of reaction in his/her system to whatever it may be. I guess it kinda goes with that saying, "Be careful but don't throw your life away b/c you have to worry about EVERYTHING." Anything can happen. It sucks, but it's life. I'm sorry for her loss.
I know her heart must be breaking. The mini bits are meant for for SMALL small animals such as ferrets and hamsters and such. The petite greenies are better for our small babies. They digest a lot easier b/c their actually chewed. A lot of small dogs just inhale the mini bits.
