Reading these posts are always a relief for me. I have two females (sisters) and one of them gave birth 4 months ago. We are having some difficulties as the balance of power is being established. The male is full of beans and is now bigger than the mother. He torments his aunty by pulling her topknot and ears. The mum doesn't partecipate in the fun until squeaky toy appears. Squeaky is hers, and only hers but the puppy hasn't gotten the message. We have had some real battles over possesion and position and I fear for the mum as her offspring outweighs her and is still growing. How do you break them up? and how do you let him know that he should keep his place in the pack? I would hate to see her humiliated. Any suggestions are appreciated.
