I am not far from Michigan and I have the entire week off. If you have contact with her tell her that her price if outragous and that she needs to surrender her to a rescue. I will drive out and pick her up on Tuesday. Then everyone will know that she is safe and sound and you will know that your money is going to the welfare of this dog. I am sure that I can find a reputable breeder that would be willing to help out a rescue with a 3 lb yorkie. It is just not safe for someone without any experinece to be taking in a dog like this and trying to do with alone. I think that everyone else needs to back off of calling and emailing this person and lets just let the OPer handle the dialogue and go from there. If this person has no interest then she will have no choice except to cave.
Yorkie_mamma22~~Your heart seems to be in the right place but IMO I really do not think it would be a very good idea for you to take thing little girl into your home. You work, have no experience with this type of thing, have young children etc.
