If you get a particularly tough mat, try rubbing a little
Cowboy Magic Shine and Detangler into the mat, then pull apart with your fingers a little, and it should brush right out. Another product works just like it called "
The Stuff" -- great at taking out tangles! I have also read that you an rub some corn meal into a mat and it will come right out. I still have not tried that.
