Sorry to hear that Zacchie is still not feeling well. When Piper had her surgery she seemed to be back to her happy self within a few days, although it took her a few weeks before she started to use her leg. I kept her on the pain meds for a week. Piper likes to eat so she didn't miss a meal and we had no problem with constipation. I never used the collar on her. I put her in a longish tee shirt so that it covered the incision. I was amazed that she actually left it alone. She had the stitches in for 14 days. Hopefully Zacchie will be back to his old self soon.
