The after care is very important. Your dog needs to be crated or carried, as they can re-injury the patellas. I believe LP recovery is at a minimum of 8 weeks. Each week gets better and better though
My advice is to make sure you are having a Board Cert. Ortho Vet do the procedure AND that they are doing the cut and pin type of LP surgery
