Yeah I agree with this, they aren't going to like it at first, but they do learn to tolerate it. Last time, in fact, Joey actually was great, and really let me get the back ones. I use poultry flavored toothpaste that he likes, and I hold the chin hairs with one hand. Joey's breeder said a couple of times a week is enough, and I also do other things, that I believe help. I use kibble, (doesn't stick to teeth as much) Petzlife spray (soften tartar), and Merrick Bully Sticks (helps scrape tartar and stimulate gums).
