When I was doing rescue there were people who did the same thing and I came to the conclusion that these people were not into adding a member to their family but to own and enslave the animal...I felt these were the kind of people who would easily give up a dog if it caused problems in their life or they wanted to move and not take the animal. You have to make a decision on whom you want to have your babies and how you want them treated. Good Luck to you.
