We are pretty sure that we are getting our puppy tomorrow afternoon (trying not to get my hopes up). I think we have everything we need - Xpen, crate, toys, food, 2 doggy beds (couldn't decide which one to get), toothbrush, puppy shampoo, brush, Nature's Miracle, Nutri-cal, and we are getting a harness tomorrow. Anyway, we are not doing puppy pads, and we are going to train outside. My question for you is this - we are planning to go to my Dad's for Father's Day, and we don't want to leave Dakota home. My Mom passed away in Sept., and this will be a tough day for my Dad, so staying home is not an option. I heard that you can't take puppies out until they have all their shots
- what am I to do? Can I keep Dakota in a pet carrier? My Dad and my Grandma (90 yrs) are looking forward to seeing Dakota on Sunday, but now I don't know what to do! Any advice is appreciated!
