3 pounds and under is considered 'Teacup' if you like...4 pounds is not that tiny really...the chart is not always accurate..your baby could end up 5-6lbs...you just never know..it was pretty accurate for my Pixie though.
I have a 3lb'er and people always ask if she is a 'Teacup', 'Toy', 'Miniature'...etc etc...I usually respond by saying..'No..she's just a very small Yorkie'..

Not all 'Teacups' come from bad breeders...sometimes the reputable show breeders will get an occasional tiny...My Pixie came from a show breeder..They need a little extra special care and attention..regular small meals to keep up their blood sugar, and constant supervision, there are many hazards when you have a little one, from falling off furniture (never leave unnattended on sofa's bed's etc!) to being stepped on...you have to have your wits about you...they can be hard work!
