Are you planning to crate train your yorkie? If so, then the crate should be just big enough that she could lie down and turn around in. You don't want to get a crate too big or else she may go potty in it. Also if you plan to crate train you should only leave her in for few minutes first and then slowly increase it to hours to get her adjusted (no more than 3-4 hours). For my furbabies, I tried crate training but just couldn't do it b/c I felt really bad and I ended waking up every 1 hour during the night to check on them. Eventually I just ended up gating up the bathroom until they were potty trained on the pee pad. Good luck!  |
