When Lexie first came home, she wanted to eat grass, pine cones, bark, a quick aaah, leave it and now she does not bother with it It is possible that your furbaby had water in the ear which can eventually lead to problems, another thing is debris in its ear due to hair in the ear, hair in the ear canal has to be pulled out to help with airflow and healthy ears.

I give mine a bath once a week, I spray with a product found at petsmart, Nova pearls, it has a nice deodarant smell, even when he gets wet outside it activates the smell of nova pearls, so they smell nice.

I would check the ears for hair in the ear canal, remove it or have a groomer or vet do it, then check for infection. Good luck
