6 months is ideal. Couver went a few days before he turned 6 months.
It is important to do it before they develop any bad habits (humping, marking...) Couver does not do any of the above, and I credit it to his neuter. He was humping like a madman before, and it completely ceased within two weeks of being fixed  |
