I bathe Sophie once a week. However, she gets groomed daily which includes...teeth brushing, paw wiping (with puppy wipes), eye goop cleaning and then I will just wipe her down with a puppy wipe. I then spray her with a fine mist of detangler and brush her. All of this "freshens" her up betwen baths. But to be honest....when I first brought her home, no amount of bathing got the "kennel" smell out of her hair. It took several weeks and regular baths/grooming to get rid of the smell. Like the others, she'll pick up scents in her hair when she goes for her walks daily, but it does go away in a few hours. Smells kind of like "wet puppy".
