I have a Westie! We love her. She is about 15 lbs. There was a bit of a conflict when we got her because Edie was used to being the only dog. But they have adjusted, and now they are partners in crime!
Breezy is definitely a terrier, and she is more independent than my Yorkie. She likes to chase birds, and sometimes she catches them
. She is SO LOVEABLE. I highly recommend Westies.
Westies DO SHED--not like a labrador retriever, but they shed. They can also have skin issues, but we give Breezy a fish oil tablet daily, and she has had no problems. She will be 9 years old in August--we adopted her about 2.5 years ago.
