In the meantime, keep jumps LOW. When I started out, I thought it was macho to get him to jump over big jumps. He'd do 12". But in competition, they only need to do 4" or 8" max. Can't go to the meetup this year, not in the budget. But wish I was, since its only about 7 hours from me

Thanks for the tip on the jump height! I had to go out and measure the one we've been using, and it is at 8" and he does great, so I won't raise it any higher, although he would love for me to, lol

I am trying to find little things to set up our own little practice course in the yard, can you tell me how far apart are those weavy sticks they have to weave through? is there a standard distance?

If you don't mind me posting a couple pics in your thread, here's Nappy jumping the little jump we have set up, not great pics but just wanted to show what we're using
