I had a Yorkie many years ago, Zara, that was diagnosed with this at 10 months. I noticed she was limping and took her to her vet. She had surgery and was fine after a period of recovery(rest). She came home the same day as surgery. I remember being so frightened since I never owned a dog previously. Zara went on to rule me until 17 years of age.
I will keep you and Frankie in my thoughts and prayers.
