I have a male chihuahua who is 13 months old and not neutered and I have been using a belly band on him for over 6 months and I swear he uses his belly band as a diaper. I always seem to find the pad completely soaked in pee, yet I will not notice him go to his papers to go potty... then again it could just be that when he's wearing his belly band he thinks it's ok to mark and is sneaking around the house marking. I was hoping the belly band would stop him from marking and make him pee when I gave him potty breaks, but it hasn't
I just leave his belly band off most of the time now cuz then he will actually pee on his papers. I would also like to know if anyone has had any success with bellybands doing something other than catching the pee.
