ok, i got this exact same email about 3 months ago. exact same wording minus the hearing imparied part. his name was Mr. Bill in the one i got. he wanted to do all the things he said to you. he said that he wanted to send me a cashier check for so and so amount and that he wanted me to send the left over amount to his "associate" to cover expenses to transport the pup to him. i did write him back. and i told him that i had shown his email to the authorities. never heard from him again. i also asked him what kind of fool did he think i was?
these people have been trying this scam for a while now. i had heard of another person who they contacted about a motorcycle long before i got the email. and it was the same type of wording with the motorcycle. they just go in and change a few words. i think they are foreign. they havent learned to not speak in such a business-like way to the average person selling something. however,, they may pick up on this in the future and sound more beleivable.
