A German Pinscher is also a great alternative. They have a very similar temperament to a Dobe and are only about 40lbs.  |
I do remember my brothers dog being like this...they sent it away to get trained which he never did with any other dog. I still liked the dog, but I'm a lover of most dogs anyways.
I have had a really hard time finding german pinscher breeders, especially in California. I like the fact that these dogs are smaller than dobermans but I've heard they are rare so I'm worried about the price.
