Thank you FlDebra for your response. Yes, I think our situation might be somewhat different than yours since your dogs are father and son. My worry is that since Rusty has been the only dog in our household for over two years that he might become over protective of his space, toys, food..etc. I just want to make sure he gets along with our new addition and was wondering if sex might make a difference.
