 Dew Claws called cosmetic surgery
Recently when we took our pups to get their tails done and dew claws removed, one of the vets said they didn't do it because they thought it was cosmetic surgery...we have had Yorkies for over 18 years...it is a AKC standard ...she was young and probably not willing to take the time for such a low dollar procedure. I even heard where a Yorkie ended up catching their dew claw and hurting their leg...Yorkies are prone to limb injuries, why add to their woes...we assume the cost of tails and claws when we decided to breed our dogs. We also get a quantity discount since we already owned 4 Yorkies..a group rate you might say. Good luck and enjoy your new addition...life is alot better with a Yorkie in it. |
