Bernie has had some struggles including
two surgeries
since he came to us. Both were minor but necessary and were direct results of his earlier troubles.
He was incontinent (both bowel and urinary) when we got him, so I know a lot about diapers for male dogs.
His bowel incontinence has cleared up unless he is really stressed (so we avoid that, he is really one very laid back little guy) and he lives in belly bands 24/7. He thinks he's stylin'.
Aww, Bernie we love you and I'm so glad we found you. I thank God on a regular basis that you were saved by such a wonderful rescue.
...made me cry too...what a story :-)
