I am trying to figure out what to do..there is a bit of a problem with Tevo because of the sarcoptic mange. I spoke with my vet and she advised against my fostering him. I have quite a few pups now and one of my personal pups has a lowered immunity which could leave him at risk. I have no way to properly quarantine Tevo during the treatment which can take 2 - 4 weeks. I cannot put all of my pups at risk...it is not deadly but would be an awful mess. I am hoping the other rescue in LA will step up...if not, then I am going to try to see if I can get him boarded and treated here in this area. |
Totally understandable, my Roxy has a low immunity as well.
I feel so bad for him though, sitting in that awful shelter. I really, really do not want him to die there. So what can I do help ~ I am so sad for him
