thank you for all of your advice.

You need to make him sit before you put on his halter and leash. Wait for him to be calm. If he has a burst of uncontrolled excitement, you must stop and start over. Only work with him when he is calm.

I tried this technique. I have not had any success. I can't even get the leash on him. He won't stop jumping up and freaking out over the leash. He jumps almost up to my waist and I have to keep the leash over my head so he won't get it. I got scratches all over me. I don't know what to do. I haven't been able to walk him for days now. Today I thought I might douse the leash in one of those bitter sprays. It didn't work. He still was biting and fighting with the leash.
I don't know what to do guys, I don't really have the money for an obedience class... and I can't seem to do anything n my own.
Please help me.

I miss taking my baby for walks.
