This just goes to show you how little it takes sometimes to bring me joy. This was my 1st day back @ work and Lily had to stay home all day alone. I did come home at lunch time to check on her and let her out to play for about 10 min. She woke up around 5:00 am but I got up primarily to see if/where she has gone to the bathroom thru the night. I was greeted by both poo & pee in the litter box and a dry towel in her crate. At lunch I when I came home I discovered another spot of pee on the pad in the litter box. I returned home tonite around 5:30 and didn't really notice anything new. I took out her old pad and straightened out her area, checking food & water. I then played with her out of the pen. I made a sort of runway area for her out of a plastic runner I got @ Home Depot. I don't have to worry about staining if she decides to do her business on the sly. I sit on the bottom of my stairs put a harness and leash on her and she can only run that distance back & forth. Carpet stays clean. After about 10-15 mins of her being out. I put her back in the pen on the pad which she jumped out of (she always does). So I left her there barking & whining. I changed my clothes and when I returned there was a new poo & pee right on the pad. No accidents today and without me even being home. I feel good. I know it's temporary but I'm a happy girl right now!
