I use the Frontline Spray instead because Jasmine is so small, 2 lbs 6 ounces at 5 1/2 months old. I just spray a couple of times, rub into her hair, and that is all. On Prissy, our toy poodle, I pump about 5 times on her and that works for her. The bottle is $ 57.00, so it is much cheaper than the Frontline that is in the tube thingys. It has an odor, but when it dries (which it dries fast) there is no odor and it does NOT stain fabric. Anyway this works for us.
