I did manage to get it open a little and I didn't see anything up front or in the middle. What am I looking for? Is it torwards the back? I'm going into the vet today to get more milk I will ask her then. |
You should see a gaping whole. But, if your boy is gaining, I have a feeling that all is fine. This last litter I had the boy did that too....the first couple of times being fed, vet told me it was just coming in too fast.
I didn't give my pups their first shots until 8 weeks of age. 8, 12 and 16 weeks. However, that is why I asked you to see about the colestrum, that is unless the milk you're feeding has it in it. Colestrum is what gives the puppies antibodies.
