My DH has always been adament about not giving our dogs human food. However, he has been working from home for 4 months now and I started noticing about a month ago that both of our little guys gravitate to him when we are eating at the dinner table. DH had to come clean and admit that he was sharing his snacks and meals with the boys...he couldn't resist their eyes. Whatever. Any way, he's created two little begging monsters. So, basicially they have turned into spoiled brats when it comes to food and can eat whatever they want as long as it is safe and in small amounts. They appear to have iron stomachs (as someone mentioned in an earlier post).

My grandmother has a Boston Terrier that gets his own plate of human food at every meal time (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks). Even when they come over to my house for a meal, she brings her dog and fixes him his own plate, but she makes him eat it in the bathroom because she tells him it's not fair for my babies to watch him eat his own plate and all they get is scraps.
