I would love to take her too, but not sure how well she travels. I may be able to find a friend to come by and check on her if I leave her home. It would only be for one night. I was trying not to have to drive down and back in the same day. Any ideas would be helpful. |
It sure is okay to leave you alone for one night. Unlike dogs, I think cats prefer a little me time every now and then. I have a cat too and I left her alone for two nights. I swear she acted like she was mad at me for coming home. Just leave plenty of food and water and and clean litter box and your cat should be okay. My cat is very stand offish so she really loves the solitude. Also I have a sticker on my front door and back door that says "PETS INSIDE IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER".
Any longer the two nights, I have my stepmom check in on her about every other day until I get home.
